Of interest are the various Orienteering titles at all levels that the squadron members achieved since the adoption of the DF of orienteering.

In the first event of its type in the entire DF was the DF Off Road Motorcycling event held in Oct 2005 in Kilworth. The individual Tpr Brian Landers took Event ahead of all the other competing teams entirely drawn from PDF units.
